EMDR Intensive Therapy is a highly effective form of therapy that has been shown to lead to greater symptom reduction in a shorter period. Instead of attending weekly or bi-weekly therapy, clients receive EMDR Intensive therapy for an allotted amount of time (ex: 3 hrs, 6 hrs or more), which allows them to work through key experiences still causing distress today.

  • We will meet online via video. I will begin by getting to know you and facilitating a trusting space for us to get to know one another. I will also explore your symptoms and how you experience them. From there, we will explore emotions, beliefs and events from your past and present which may still be impacting you today, how they are keeping you stuck and what you’d like to let go of.

  • This depends on the person, challenge and goodness of fit between client and therapist. Things can sometimes worsen before they improve. Successful therapy is indicated by closer movement towards your therapeutic goals, a safe and collaborative relationship between client and therapist, greater self awareness, an ability to better handle stress and more.

  • My style is genuine, personable and collaborative as I inform clients about research based data in the field of mental health. I am also trained in a number of evidence based approaches. My genuine personality paired with 10 years of training and experience has and continues to help numerous clients gain more healing, self awareness, clarity, calm and empowerment.

  • Possessing a desire for self awareness, healing, change and transformation are several indicators you are ready for therapy or coaching. A safe and trusting relationship between the client and helping professional (i.e. therapist and coach) paired with consistency are two evidence based factors which contribute to successful outcomes in therapy and coaching.
